What's kept about you. Your email and login details if you make an account. The tickers
you look up, which features you use, and basic device and log information (including your IP
address) for security and analytics. Card details are handled by the payment processor and never
stored here.
The newsletter. Your email, when you subscribed and from which page. One email asks you to
confirm; every issue after that has a one-click unsubscribe. If you're signed in when you read an
issue, that read is noted on your account; if not, the visit is counted without identifying you.
Who else sees it. Only the services that run the product: hosting, payments, email delivery,
analytics, the market-data sources, and the AI provider that writes the analysis text. Your
information is never sold.
Cookies and browser storage keep you signed in, remember that you read the disclaimer, and
count visits.
Your say. Information is kept while your account is active. You can ask to see, correct or
delete it, and unsubscribe from any non-essential email at any time. The product isn't for anyone
under 18.
This summary is here to help you read the policy; the numbered sections below are what
applies. Questions: support@techdamentals.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how the owner and operator of Techdamentals (“Techdamentals,” “we,”
“us,” “our”) handles information in connection with the Techdamentals apps (IV Calculator and ReadR)
(the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our
Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
Account information: if you create an account, we collect your email
address and authentication details.
Payment information: paid subscriptions are processed by our third-party
payment processor. We do not store your full card details; the processor handles them.
Usage data: the tickers you analyze, feature usage, and basic device and
log information (including IP address) used for security, rate limiting, and analytics.
Local storage: we store a small flag in your browser to remember that you
acknowledged the educational-use disclaimer, and to remember preferences.
Newsletter subscription: if you subscribe to The Mentals, we store your email
address, when you subscribed and confirmed, and which page you subscribed from. We send one
email asking you to confirm before anything else, and every email after that includes a
one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops all newsletter email to that address.
Newsletter reading: if you are signed in to your account when you open an
issue of The Mentals, we record which issue your account read and when. If you are not
signed in, we count the visit without identifying you: we keep only the issue, the time,
and the name of the website that linked to it, never your IP address or anything else
that identifies you.
2. How we use information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To operate accounts, process payments, and enforce usage limits.
To secure the Service and prevent abuse.
To communicate with you about the Service (e.g., transactional emails, and, if you opt in,
alerts you configure).
3. Third parties we use
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the Service. These may
include our hosting provider, our payment processor, an email delivery provider, and analytics
providers. Financial data is retrieved from third-party market-data sources, and analysis text
is generated using a third-party AI provider. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use browser local storage and may use cookies for essential functionality (such as keeping
you signed in and remembering your disclaimer acknowledgment) and for analytics.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide
the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You
may request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal
information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact
us at the address below. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for, individuals under 18. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is
completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
“Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
